Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join the Production Engineering team in London. You will apply a software engineering mindset to build automation, scale cloud-native infrastructure, and guide project teams in DevSecOps, observability, and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities include automating provisioning, deploying to production and demo environments, and implementing robust observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in DevSecOps for cloud-native environments.
• Strong automation and IaC skills, with familiarity of Terraform and GitOps.
• Proficiency in container orchestration, monitoring observability, and incident response.
• Ability to optimize cloud architectures for security, performance, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support production and demo environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows (Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitOps).
• Package and deploy applications to customer environments.
• Implement and optimise observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
• Support incident response, monitoring, and backup/recovery planning.
• Mentor project teams in DevSecOps practices and environment management.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, performant, and cost-optimised.
