Overview

We are looking for a committed, dynamic, reliable and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work as part of a dedicated team in our Special Resource Base (SRB). The SRB is a local authority provision for pupils with social communication and interaction difficulties, ASD and an IDP.

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 6-11 (£25,989- £28,142) Pro Rata plus SEN point
Contract: Temporary
Start Date: 5th January 2026

  • Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
  • Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • Internal candidates on secondment need approval via Form SEC1 (4.C.081) from a graded OM2 or higher or Headteacher/Governing Body.
