Job Description:
  • The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for conducting audits, assessments, and reviews to ensure adherence to organizational standards, processes, and templates.
  • This role involves monitoring project compliance, identifying process improvements, preparing QA reports, and maintaining documentation to enhance the effectiveness and consistency of quality assurance practices across all lines of business.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of medium to complex programs/projects to ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and templates.
  • Identify procedural issues based on audit findings and drive resolution.
  • Communicate with internal audit teams and management on audit progress, issues, and deadlines.
  • Collect and analyze quality-related data and trends.
  • Monitor and track quality issues and action items through resolution.
  • Participate in audits to ensure compliance and uniformity in deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Service Level Requirements (SLRs) for assigned programs/projects.
  • Develop departmental materials, including SOPs and process libraries covering governance, change management, auditing, reporting, and metrics.
  • Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections to evaluate process effectiveness.
  • Support internal consistency checks and ensure fair auditing practices.
  • Prepare QA reports and assist in senior-level presentation preparation.
  • Track and report process change requests.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initiation to completion, focusing on process improvements, assessments, audits, and quality controls.
Preferred Skills:
  • Functional knowledge of Agile, Spiral, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proven experience with execution and administration of Quality/Process Improvement best practices.
  • Experience developing and managing Program/Project Quality Assurance or Process Improvement Plans.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Gates or Checkpoints within SDLC.
  • Ability to gather information and resolve issues independently.
  • Experience managing and tracking small to medium complexity projects to align with long-term business goals.
  • Advanced experience in quality assurance and process improvement in IT project development, custom software, and maintenance environments.
