Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring in Field Engineering and GTM across EMEA. You will build engaging talent pipelines, run intake sessions with leaders, and use market data to shape roles, timelines, and candidate approaches.

You will partner with Field Engineering leaders and cross-functional teams, mentor less experienced recruiters, and help scale the company during its growth. This in-house role emphasizes data-driven decision making and inclusive hiring.

The Impact You Will Have

• Apply your knowledge to meet our hiring needs within Field Engineering and develop unique full-cycle hiring strategies.
• Build engaged talent pipelines for roles across Field Engineering, with active and passive candidates which can sustain long-term hiring goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Field Engineering leaders across EMEA — running intake and calibration sessions, challenging assumptions on role design and seniority, and holding hiring managers to a consistently high bar.
• Create closing approaches to manage partner expectations through market data
• Lead the business with data to promote future workforce planning decisions and accurate forecasting
• Help Databricks to provide a positive interview experience for all and periodically review experiential data to enhance our offering and drive Diversity and Inclusion in our hiring

What We Look For

• Experience with recruiting for Go To Market professionals, specifically Pre-sales Engineers and Post-sales engineers from Entry level to Director within the software industry.
• Experience building strategic partnerships within the business and cross-functionally, and influencing senior stakeholders with data rather than opinion.
• Experience recruiting across multiple EMEA markets and navigating the local nuances that come with it.
• You will have had success in scaling a high-growth software/Data/AI company and be able to bring your learning from your success to our team.
• Experience serving as a mentor and expert regarding all recruiting-related activities and be comfortable sharing your knowledge within the business and our wider team
• Significant experience in a recruiting environment, ideally in-house, focussed on the SaaS software, ideally within the Data and AI space.
