Job summary

Crisil is seeking a Python Developer with extensive experience in trading and risk management systems to build backend applications and data processing logic that support risk calculations, trade workflows and reporting.

You will work on Python-based applications, data pipelines, and REST APIs, collaborating with quants, traders and risk teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Core Python development (6–10 years).
• Strong SQL skills with ability to handle complex queries and large datasets.
• Experience with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy) for data processing.
• Experience building RESTful APIs/services (Flask / FastAPI / Django).
• Strong understanding of data structures and performance optimization.
• Experience working with large-scale data processing and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of Unix / Linux environments and basic shell scripting.
• Investment Banking / Capital Markets environments
• Market Risk / CCR / PnL / Trade lifecycle / Reconciliation
• Understanding of financial products
• Good-to-have: PySpark or large-scale data processing, pricing models, Unix Bash, global banking environments

Responsibilities
