Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an AI Product Manager for the AI for Operations team to set strategy and lead researchers, engineers, and designers building agentic AI pipelines to automate bank operations.

You will translate user and business needs into strategy, write PRDs, and drive the product lifecycle from idea through execution and launch in a high-visibility enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 1+ years of experience in a company with strong product management culture.
• Experience mapping pain points and opportunities in new businesses.
• Experience driving full or parts of the product lifecycle and leading teams to launch.
• Familiarity with AI model architectures and agentic frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills.

Job description

We are building the next generation of AI and autonomous agents that can reason, plan, act, and learn to solve critical problems in operations at the huge scale of the world's largest bank.

As an AI Product Manager at the AI for Operations team, you will leverage your AI and leadership expertise to set strategy and lead researchers, engineers, and designers building agentic AI pipelines and orchestrations to automate bank operations and workflows.

The AI for Operations team for Corporate and Investment Banking operations is transforming the bank by leveraging the latest advancements in agentic AI and LLMs. This is a high-visibility role, positioned at the intersection of product strategy, AI development, and enterprise-level operational workflows.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and measure baseline business metrics for AI products and validate that production performance meets established goals and success criteria.
• Build demos and prototypes using code agents and work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, analysts, and front-office business leads to define product requirements that drive impact on our top-level product strategy
• Translate user and business needs into strategy and actionable requirements
• Write and own user stories and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
• Contribute to our team-wide and firm-wide AI presentations

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in product management or related technical role
• 1+ years of experience in a company with strong product management culture
• Experience in learning new businesses and mapping out pain points and opportunities.
• Experience driving full or parts of the product lifecycle for products, writing product documents, and leading tech teams from idea to alignment and through execution and launch
• Familiarity with AI model architectures, such as Large Language Models, and methods such as prompting, context engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, MCPs, and agentic frameworks
• Great communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field
• Proven track record of delivering and launching successful products at scale
• Experience driving tech transformation for large digital operations
• Experience in presenting strategy and progress to senior leads.
