Job summary

Insulet Corporation is seeking a Senior Medical Affairs Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. The role focuses on HCP professional education, clinical in-field activities, and cross-functional collaboration to support clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will lead medical education programs, communicate the clinical value of Insulet products, and ensure medical information accuracy in line with regional guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related science and/or healthcare credentials required.
• 2+ years of clinical, industry or research experience required.
• Clinical or scientific background related to diabetes preferred.
• Experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, Medical Education departments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver professional education programs for healthcare providers aligned with new products, indications and claims.
• Communicate the clinical value of Insulet's products to external audiences.
• Plan and execute activities for international scientific conferences (presentations, reports, Medical Information booth).
• Ensure external communications are medically accurate, compliant with regional guidelines and industry standards.
• Analyze evidence related to diabetes therapies to inform product development and commercial strategies.
• Maintain clinical quality standards and align procedures with set standards.

Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Medical Affairs Specialist to join us on a fixed-term 12 months maternity cover contract. We're looking for someone with experience in HCP Professional Education and/or clinical in-field activities, who will work closely with cross-functional partners to support clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective HCP communication.

Position Overview

Insulet Corporation is dedicated to improving the lives of people with diabetes. Our Medical Affairs department supports this mission by providing medical expertise to inform product research and development, evidence generation and dissemination, key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, and medical education. The Medical Affairs Specialist will lead key deliverables to support core department functions and corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Develop and execute professional education programs for healthcare providers that cadence with new products, indications, and claims (e.g. webinars, podcasts, learning management system, etc.).
• Effectively communicate the clinical value of Insulet's line of products to external audiences.
• Strategize and execute plans for International scientific conferences (presentations, reports, Medical Information booth).
• Ensure processing of external communications (e.g. medical information inquiries, promotional materials) are medically and scientifically accurate, meet compliance standards and adhere to all applicable, regional regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Analyze evidence related to diabetes therapies, standards of care, and technologies to inform product development and commercial strategies.
• Maintain clinical quality standards by ensuring procedures reflect current practices and initiatives align with set standards.

Education and Experience

• Minimum bachelor's degree in health-related science and/or healthcare credentials (RN, RD, etc.). An advanced graduate degree is highly desired (PharmD, MSc).
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a clinical, industry, or research setting is required.
• Clinical or scientific background related to diabetes disease state and devices is preferred.
• Industry experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, Medical Science, or Medical Education departments is desirable.
