Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Sr. Lead Software Engineer within the Commercial & Investment Bank Compute Runtime Platforms to design, build, and deliver trusted market-leading tech products in a secure, scalable way.

You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and leverage GenAI to optimize large compute environments, using Python, C++, and Go across cloud and on-premises deployments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Expertise in C++, Python, Kubernetes, and HPC/Grid Computing technologies (Slurm, LSF, Symphony).
• Proven cloud experience and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Education in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or related field.

Job Responsibilities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Expertise in C++, Python, Kubernetes (K8s), and HPC/Grid Computing technologies (Slurm, LSF, Symphony), GenAI, agent framework and tools, observability tooling such as OTel
• Proven experience with cloud technologies and environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities

• AWS hands-on experiences is a plus.
