Job Description
Wall Street Journal | Barron’s Group (WSJ|BG) is looking for an experienced interactive designer for the Ad Innovation rich media studio. This person will be primarily responsible for post-sale custom ad unit production, while contributing to pre-sale ideation, concept design and proprietary ad format development.
The ideal candidate will be solutions-driven, proactive, and passionate about creating elegant ad experiences. They will be an advocate for innovation and help accelerate WSJ|BG’s position as an industry leader in rich media.
With input from the Ad Innovation Executive Director and Sr. Interactive Design Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the production lifecycle of assigned client campaigns (working primarily within Celtra), while contributing to the team’s roadmap of new ad products and implementing best practices for performance and efficiency.
Establish and execute best practices for performance, speed and scalability
Collaborate on streamlined ad creative specs for client asset deliverables
Incorporate polite user experiences while adhering to WSJ|BG best practices of standards and ethics
Work with the interactive design manager to execute new ad template rollouts and meet roadmapped goals
Proactively develop ongoing knowledge base of new capabilities and products within the Celtra ecosystem
