The Pay Equity Analytics & Compliance Team, part of Global Talent Management & Compensation within Amazon, handles equal pay analysis, pay equity analytics, and statutory pay equity reporting across Amazon. We define Amazon's global pay equity strategy, produce annual pay gap analyses, and support legal activities such as audits and litigation. The Compliance Service Program manages Amazon's statutory pay equity reporting, including project management, data analysis, and legislative monitoring.

As a Senior Risk and Compliance Manager in this team, you will work with global HR policies and systems to manage pay equity and reporting requirements, translating legal obligations into system or process requirements, monitoring controls, and developing remediation plans. Projects may be driven by new legal requirements like the EU Pay Transparency Directive or emerging risks.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead global pay equity and HR compliance programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Legal to identify requirements and propose solutions, influencing stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans and troubleshoot issues, monitoring project portfolios.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and validate quality.
  • Translate complex compliance requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Present summaries and reports to senior leadership.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Design standardized processes for consistent outcomes.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and focus on organizational success.

Basic qualifications:

Preferred qualifications:
