Xe.com, based in the United Kingdom, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and transform our technology estate. You will work with Development and Security to create scalable systems that serve millions of customers across the globe.

Responsibilities include delivering zero-downtime deployments, monitoring production, and enabling self-service environments using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and related tooling within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software delivery pipelines.
• IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar).
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Icinga2, APM).
• DevOps toolchain: Kubernetes, GitHub, Artifactory, ElasticSearch, Docker, AWS ECS/EKS.
• Experience with hosting services (AWS, VMware).
• Understanding of Linux, Windows servers and networking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Desirable: experience running large-scale web apps and APIs in production.

Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas.

About This Role

We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team who will be responsible for building and transforming our technology estate. Working closely with Development and Security you will create functional systems that will improve the experience of millions of customers. Your challenges include building and deploying products, improving ways to monitor and identify production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. You will be providing experience, guidance, and support to multiple development teams within the UK and across the globe. Position Requirements

• Strong experience with implementing software delivery pipelines.
• Configuration management and IaC. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring systems, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Icinga2, APM
• DevOps - Kubernetes, Github, Artifactory, ElasticSearch, Docker, AWS ECS/EKS
• Hosting services - AWS, VMware, etc.
• Understanding of Linux, Windows servers, and networking.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Desirable: experience running large scale web applications and APIs in production
