The Role

As a SQL Technician / Project Support Engineer, you will be working between internal development and external customers to ensure the projects meet their goals and deliver what clients need. You will use your technical knowledge of SQL (in particular), and awareness of the development process to help manage the process and provide support to external customers.

The SQL Technician / Project Support Engineer will join a leading Software House. The role offers a supportive team environment, rewarding hard work and innovative thinking. It is a hybrid remote role, with two days a week from the company’s Lincoln office.

What’s required?

The ideal candidate will have some of the following:

• A technical background or knowledge of software development, especially SQL.
• Experience working in a client-facing role or closely with external customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Prior project management experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Knowledge of XML, IIS, and JSON is beneficial.
