Job summary

Pardoe Wray in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated SQL & ERP Interface Developer to join its Group IT function during a technology transformation.

This role offers hands-on work across SQL development, ERP integrations, EDI, APIs and enterprise applications, with initial focus on SQL-based integration and ERP interfaces, and potential progression into broader development and automation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL development.
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views and data-validation processes.
• Troubleshoot and improve SQL queries, integrations and data processes.
• Support ERP integrations, testing, deployments and system enhancements.
• Monitor EDI transactions including EDIFACT and X12.
• Investigate integration failures and coordinate technical fixes.
• Support trading-partner onboarding, mapping validation and testing.
• Work closely with business users, external partners and technology providers.
• Contribute to the continued improvement of business-critical systems.
