Job summary

Marks Sattin is recruiting a Fund Accounting Data Migration Consultant for a London hybrid 5-month contract. The role focuses on bridging Fund Accounting and Technology, especially around complex data, SQL, and system migration.

You will analyse large financial datasets, map relationships between funds, investments, entities, transactions and balances, ensuring data accuracy as it moves between systems. Knowledge of platforms like eFront, Aladdin, MRI, Databricks or Power BI is useful.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL Server / T-SQL skills.
• Experience of fund accounting, investment accounting or finance systems migration.
• Knowledge of fund accounting and complex investment structures.
• Experience with financial data across multiple fund entities, investments and reporting periods.
• Strong data analysis, mapping and reconciliation experience.
• Ability to investigate complex data issues.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between Fund Accounting and Technology, focusing on complex investment data, SQL and migrations.
• Prepare the environment for migration onto a new platform.
• Develop migration and reconciliation processes and investigate data discrepancies.
• Support testing, conversion activity and resolve issues across reporting and production processes.
