A prominent recruitment agency is seeking an experienced SQL DBA for a 3-month role based in Leeds. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, availability, and security of SQL databases, utilizing SQL Server 2019 and Azure SQL. The position requires strong communication skills and experience in high-regulated environments. You will work 2 days on-site and be part of a dynamic team focusing on performance tuning and ensuring optimal database performance.

Job description

SQL DBA – SQL Server, 2019, Azure -3 months, Hybrid / Leeds 2 days, to £500 p / d inside IR35

A SQL Server DBA is required to work for a market leading organisation. You will have extensive SQL DBA development and production experience, gained within a large enterprise, high availability regulated environment, with good knowledge of SQL Server 2019 and Azure SQL. Any experience of SSRS / SSIS / SSAS, Cosmos DB, cloud-based or hosted database platforms advantageous though not essential. The role will involve working as part of a team on the configuration, availability, integrity and security of all databases and datasources dealing with the performance tuning and code standards, code reviews, liaising with the technical teams, 3rd parties etc. Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The role will require 2 days a week on site Leeds.
