Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Trainee Sprinkler Service Engineer to join the service department, primarily supporting RAF Mildenhall and surrounding UK locations. You will assist with servicing sprinkler valve sets, carrying out flow tests, and learning installation tasks while following safe procedures and reporting electronically.

The role requires a flexible attitude to hours and travel, driving licence, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing sprinkler valve sets (wet, dry, alternate, deluge, pre-Action).
• Ability to perform 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and conduct service checks.
• Plumbing/piping knowledge and fault finding on sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain sprinkler valve sets across sites.
• Carry out 5-point flow tests on pumps and perform general service checks.
• Assist or conduct sprinkler installations where required.
