The Role

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the crop remains healthy and disease‑free throughout the growing cycle—from planting to harvest.

Day to day, you’ll:

• Operate self‑propelled and self‑retracting sprayers to apply crop protection products.
• Walk the crop regularly, monitoring for pests, disease, and changes in plant condition.
• Keep accurate spray and treatment records in line with compliance standards.
• Report any plant health issues to the growing team promptly.
• Support general crop husbandry and site maintenance tasks.
• Be flexible with working hours – spraying often takes place in the evenings or at night to protect the crop.

About You

• Experience working in a commercial horticultural or agricultural environment.
• PA1 and PA6A certificates preferred (training provided if you’ve worked in commercial plant production but haven’t had the opportunity to qualify yet)
• Hands‑on and proactive, with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident working independently and under pressure.
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑focused attitude.
• Basic understanding of crop protection chemistry.
