Job summary

Allied Vehicles in Wigan is seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our busy Bodyshop. You will prepare, paint and finish vehicles to a high standard, ensuring work aligns with manufacturer and company quality standards.

The role requires a time-served spray painter with a full UK driving licence and prior automotive paint shop experience. Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, salary up to £68k OTE depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package to support your well-being and development.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Spray Painter to join our Bodyshop in Wigan. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to become part of a busy, professional team.

You’ll play a key role carrying out the repairs to vehicles in line with the company’s responsibilities and duties, contributing to the return of the vehicle to its pre-accident condition.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm and the salary is up to £68k OTE depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Examine estimate, job card and vehicle carrying out the repair in the correct sequence and method.
• Paint vehicles in line with vehicle manufacturer, Company and paint company standards.
• Operate infrared and air-drying equipment in line recommended methods.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience as a time-served spray painter.
• Previous experience working in automotive paint shop.
