Job summary

Arnold Clark is looking for an experienced Vehicle Spray Painter for our Ayr BYD workshop. You will work in a busy workshop environment, restoring accident-damaged and sales vehicles to their best standard.

The role is full-time with hours Monday to Thursday 8am–5.30pm and Friday 8am–4.30pm. We offer generous benefits including up to 33 days leave, salary reviews twice yearly, private healthcare, and staff discounts, plus a potential OTE of up to £47,000 and bonuses up to £9,000 every three

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter in a professional workshop.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
• Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
• Carrying out minor damage repairs.
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
• Mixing paint and applying products to a high standard.

Working within a busy workshop environment, you’ll work on accident-damaged and sales vehicles to restore them to their former glory.

You’ll need to have previous experience, be energetic, efficient and happy to work on your own initiative to get every job done to the highest standard.
