Job summary

Harnham is expanding its sports media rights analytics team to deliver data-driven insights for a global client base across sports, media, and entertainment. You will develop a data product, contribute to syndicated research and bespoke client projects, and help translate complex rights data into actionable recommendations.

In this role, you will track rights deals globally, maintain market data databases, and support valuation using proprietary modelling approaches.

Qualifications

Experience in sports media rights, sports research, analytics or strategy.
Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting and modelling.
Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and ability to identify trends.
Clear written reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
Passion for the sports industry and sector expertise.
Experience with PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
Exposure to SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Track and analyse sports media rights deals across global markets.
Maintain databases covering rights agreements and market data.
Support the valuation of media rights contracts using modelling approaches.
Produce client-facing reports, research notes, and analytical content.
Identify market trends and translate data into actionable insights.
Support dashboard development and self-service data products.
Research how rights are packaged, distributed, and monetised across sports and competitions.
Contribute to thought leadership and industry analysis.
Collaborate with commercial teams to support client conversations and product development.
