A leading local authority in Birmingham is looking for a highly motivated Sports Ground Safety Officer. The role involves supporting the Council in delivering statutory duties and providing expert advice on safety regulations at sporting venues. Ideal candidates should have experience in sports ground safety and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with a salary range of £33,366 to £40,476.

Permanent, Grade 4 £33,366 - £40,476 Consultation grade – subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review.
Working 36.5 hours per week – we will consider job sharing or part‑time arrangements.

We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and experienced Sports Ground Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Council deliver its statutory duties in accordance with the Safety at Sports Grounds Act 1975 and provide specialist advice to the Safety Advisory Group.
