Job summary

Bupa Health Clinic Durham is seeking an experienced Sports and Exercise Medicine/MSK Physician to join our multidisciplinary MSK team. The role is offered on a self-employed basis with a fee-split arrangement and can be full-time or part-time, based onsite at DH1 1TH.

You will deliver high-quality clinical consultations and procedures for SEM/MSK conditions, require GMC registration and CCT in SEM, and bring experience in MSK MDT settings.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and license to practice – listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register.
• CCT or equivalent (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine.
• Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medicine or SEM from a recognised body.
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver evidence-based care.
• Significant experience in an MSK/SEM MDT.
• Ideally experience treating private patients.
• Experience with sports injuries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal, with good organisation.
• Interest in continuing professional and business development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care for SEM/MSK conditions.
• Work within a multidisciplinary MSK team of experienced clinicians.
• Contribute to private patient care and develop services within the clinic.
• Participate in CPD events and clinical governance activities.
