Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Sports Event Crew Member in Haydock to support delivering events across the UK. You will travel in a company van, install and dismantle signage, banners and displays, and work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high standards.

The role requires practical hands-on experience, comfortable using hand tools, and a full UK driving licence; you'll join a dynamic operations team offering development opportunities and year-round event work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Travel to sporting venues and event locations across the UK.
• Load, transport, and unload signage, branding, and event materials.
• Install and remove branding assets including banners, perimeter boards, sponsor signage, and promotional displays.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Follow event plans and installation guidelines to ensure accurate setup.
• Assist with event breakdown and return of equipment to the warehouse.
• Ensure company equipment and vehicles are maintained and organised.
• Work closely with colleagues and event teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures whilst on-site.

About the Company

Our client is a leading global sports marketing agency that specialises in creating impactful partnerships, memorable fan experiences, and high-profile sporting events. Working with some of the biggest names in sport, they play a key role in bringing brands and sporting venues together through innovative event delivery and activation.

As their event portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a practical and motivated Sports Event Crew Member to join their Operations team based in Haydock.

The Role

This is a hands-on position supporting the delivery of sporting events across the UK, with a particular focus on football stadiums and other major sporting venues.

You’ll be responsible for travelling to events in a company van, installing and dismantling branded signage, advertising boards, banners, and other event materials. This role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, comfortable using basic tools, and enjoys a varied workload where no two days are the same.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a close-knit team to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard.

• A full UK driving licence.
