Position: Sports Design Technician

Location: Bingley

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE

Hours: Full‑time, Monday – Friday

They are seeking a talented Sports Design Technician to join their dynamic team.

With a strong presence in the sports and environmental sectors, they work with clients to deliver tailored design solutions that meet specific business and infrastructure goals.

About the Role

As a Sports Design Technician, you will collaborate with experienced designers and project leads to deliver high‑quality, innovative design solutions. You will be responsible for conceptualising and developing design ideas, creating detailed drawing packages, and ensuring that all outputs meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop sports facilities at all levels, from grassroots to professional.
  • Create detailed drawing packages, plans, sections, and visuals.
  • Coordinate with project leads, engineers, and external consultants.
  • Support BIM workflows, including file coordination and model sharing through Autodesk Construction Cloud (Client).
  • Deliver accurate design outputs to agreed deadlines.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in sports facility design.
Requirements: Essential
  • Proven experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit (ideally 2 years minimum).
  • Proven experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (Client) for design collaboration.
  • Strong technical design skills with the ability to develop and communicate creative solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Passion for sports and an interest in designing facilities for all levels.
Desirable
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and 3DS Max.
