Job summary

Places for People – Places Leisure is seeking a Sports Course Helper to support the delivery of sports courses both pool and dry. You will assist the teacher with registration, equipment and teaching practices to ensure high-quality lessons for customers.

The role values energy and a willingness to help others, with opportunities to share sports experiences and support learners across courses in a flexible, busy seven-day operation.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about helping others.
• Experience in practicing sports is beneficial.
• Ability to support teachers and engage participants.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of sports courses (pool and dry).
• Assist the teacher during lessons, including participant registration and equipment handling.
• Help implement teaching practices and course criteria.
• Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment.

In this role you will be supporting the delivery of our Sports courses both wet (pool) and dry. We pride ourselves in our quality lessons and courses and the Sports Course Helper role is a fundamental part of delivering the best to our customers. You will be helping the teacher in their delivery from registration of participants to helping with equipment and teaching practices.

More about you

You will be an energetic person who is willing to help people achieve their best. You may have experience in practising sports yourself so can share your experiences with participants whilst you support the teacher and coach in the lesson and course criteria.
