Overview

The King's School, Worcester is seeking to appoint an inspirational Sports Coach or PE Teacher, ideally with a Netball specialism. Applicants should be able to deliver Netball to a high standard and offer another sport, ideally Athletics, Cricket or Hockey, also to a high standard. As part of our dedicated PE Department team, the successful candidate will deliver engaging coaching sessions, sharing their passion for the sports and motivating pupils of all abilities to achieve at high levels. Qualifications & Experience
  • Netball coaching or teaching qualification
  • Ability to deliver Athletics, Hockey or Cricket
  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of player development
  • Effective and professional communication with staff, pupils, parents and other stakeholders at all times
  • History of working with high‑level performers (beneficial)

Working Pattern & Contract

Approximately 16 hours per week (0.2 to 0.5 of a part‑time teaching role), comprising games afternoons and including Saturdays. Fixed term commencing January 2026 and running until the end of the Summer term 2026, with potential extension into the 2026/27 academic year for the right candidate.
