Teach Now is thrilled to be recruiting a dynamic and motivated Sports Coach for a popular, culturally diverse primary school in Central Walthamstow. This is a fantastic full‑time opportunity to inspire pupils across all year groups, delivering high‑quality PE lessons in a school known for its excellent behaviour, strong community ethos and commitment to holistic child development.

With over 400 learners on roll—including a Special Resourced Provision for children with autism and global delay—this modern two‑storey school is a vibrant and inclusive setting. Year groups benefit from dedicated learning spaces, along with specialist facilities such as an IT Suite, Music Studio, Practical Room and Art Studio. Children are happy, engaged and enthusiastic, and staff work together to create a nurturing, safe and enriching environment.

About the Role

As the school’s Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging, structured PE lessons that encourage teamwork, resilience and a love for fitness. You’ll work across all primary year groups and must be confident planning and leading sessions independently. While QTS is not required, school‑based experience is essential.

Teaching Areas
  • Dance
  • Gymnastics (including safe equipment set up and modelling)
  • Net and ball games
  • Striking and fielding games
  • Orienteering and outdoor activities

You may also help plan risk assessments for sporting events such as football or netball matches held during or after the school day.
