Salary: Competitive £550-£750 per week (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Closing date: Friday 12th December 2025

About the role

This role involves planning and delivering engaging sports and physical activities, encouraging teamwork, promoting wellbeing, and supporting students to develop physical and social skills. You'll work closely with SEN teachers and support staff to ensure sessions are inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for all learners.

  • Experience working with children in SEND or specialist school settings
  • A confident, energetic approach to leading sports and active sessions
  • Strong behaviour management skills and adaptability to meet individual needs
  • An understanding of supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, or physical disabilities
  • A passion for inclusive education and promoting confidence, teamwork, and independence through sport
To be eligible you must

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
