We are currently recruiting Sports Coaches and Cover Supervisors to work in a large Secondary School in Doncaster on a supply basis covering ad hoc, short-term, and long-term roles.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor,/Sports Coach you will step into the classroom and take charge of pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

You ll be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, keeping students engaged, and ensuring the smooth delivery of lessons across various subjects (no teaching qualification required).

If you re a Sports Coach, your experience in leadership, behaviour management, and motivation makes you a great fit for this kind of role especially in PE lessons or active classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising students in the teacher s absence
2. Managing behaviour in line with school policies
3. Supporting the learning environment and encouraging positive student interaction
4. Feeding back to teachers and school staff after lessons
5. Providing occasional support in PE or extracurricular activities if appropriate

We re Looking For:

• Sports Coaches, youth workers, or individuals with experience leading groups of young people
• Previous experience working with secondary‑aged students is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
• A genuine interest in education and making a positive impact
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Availability for flexible supply work in Doncaster
