Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement for this position is a minimum of 5 days experience working directly with children in the last 10 years.

Are you a passionate Sports Coach looking to take your skills into the classroom? ABC Teachers is recruiting enthusiastic Sports Coaches to work as Cover Supervisors on a supply basis in Walsall and the surrounding areas from September 2025.

About the role

  • Working as a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work and ensuring a positive learning environment.

  • You will use your coaching experience to engage and motivate students, managing behaviour and encouraging participation.

  • Opportunities for both part-time and full-time work are available, giving you flexibility to suit your schedule.

  • Daily rates of pay from GBP90 to GBP100, paid weekly.

About you:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students (either in a school, tutoring, or youth work setting)

  • A patient, resilient, and caring attitude

  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
