Job description

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a friendly, welcoming and approachable Sports Centre Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for all visitors to the Sports Centre—​including members, pupils, and staff—​you will play a vital role in creating a positive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and efficient reception service to all visitors
  • Handle enquiries in person, by phone, and via e‑mail
  • Maintain accurate records and manage bookings
  • Support the day‑to‑day operations of the Sports Centre
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and courteous manner
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing role is desirable
Working Hours

This is a part‑time role working Monday to Friday, 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

Flexibility may be required on occasion to meet the needs of the Centre.
