Milk Education is recruiting energetic and motivated Sports & Behaviour Mentors to join SEN schools across Nottingham, working on a long-term or short-term basis, starting immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about using sport and physical activity to positively influence behaviour, build confidence, and support young people with additional needs to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use sport and physical activity to engage pupils and promote positive behaviour and teamwork.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Support pupils in developing resilience, confidence, and emotional regulation through structured activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams to implement behaviour support strategies and track progress.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (in education, sport, or youth settings).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a calm, positive approach.
  • A genuine passion for sport, mentoring, and pupil wellbeing.
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of teachers and support staff.
