Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Sports Lecturer. The information below provides more detail about the role, Utilising your wealth of technical skills and experience to teach students on programmes at level 1, 2 and 3 through theory and practical knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Teach on courses and work to develop an outstanding provision that has a positive impact on the learner and assessment process.
  • Assist in the development of teaching and learning materials, preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and maintaining records to monitor learner progression, achievement and attendance.
  • Provide appropriate and relevant guidance for learners enabling them to develop knowledge, understanding and skills.
  • Develop and implement timely, safe, consistent and relevant assessment plans and resources that are linked to initial and current assessments.
  • Have teaching/tutoring/mentoring experience with apprentices, part‑time or full‑time learners.
  • Be passionate about imparting knowledge and skills to create better futures for students.
  • Be well‑organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.
Qualifications
