Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Sponsorship Governance Facilitator to join the Sponsorship Team in the R&I Office. The role focuses on regulatory support for researchers, sponsorship compliance, and lifecycle oversight from grant through to study close.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline.
• Experience in regulatory submissions and sponsor requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex governance standards and apply them in practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory support and guidance to investigators throughout sponsorship lifecycle.
• Oversee study progress against milestones and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with contracts, finance, and external organisations on governance matters.
• Maintain high standards of data management, documentation and peer review.
• Prepare for audits and inspections by external agencies and internal teams.
• Coordinate CAPA and remedial actions following monitoring or audits.
• Ensure studies meet sponsor obligations from set up to close and publication.
