Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Pay: £15.91 per hour Mon-Sat, £17.82 per hour Sundays

Hours: Up to 48 per week (12 hour shift 08:00 – 20:00)

About the Role

You’ll be supporting a young man in his 20s who due to a brain injury has complex clinical needs, including tetraplegia, chest down paralysis, limited hand function and risk of autonomic dysreflexia. We're looking for someone with experience in support work and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

He lives in an adapted bungalow with a 24/7 care team, enjoys the gym, TV/film, music, rugby and has an active social life with family and friends. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a support worker with:

  • A genuine passion for care and making a difference
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
  • Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.
