Speech & Language Therapist – Specialist SEND School (Warwickshire)

Salary: £37,602- £45,426 / Year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Speech & Language Therapist to join a well-established independent specialist day school in Warwickshire. The school provides high-quality education for children and young people with autism, ADHD, speech, language and communication difficulties, sensory processing needs, and associated social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

Main Duties

  • Complete detailed speech and language assessments for children and young people with diverse and complex needs.
  • Develop and deliver individual and group therapy plans aligned with EHCP outcomes and clinical priorities.
  • Support teaching and care teams to embed communication strategies throughout the school environment.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary discussions, progress reviews, and goal planning.
  • Provide specialist training and guidance to staff and families to promote consistent communication support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional standards.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration and RCSLT membership.
  • Experience supporting children and young people with autism, SEMH, and related communication needs.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and evidence-based intervention approaches.
  • Enhanced DBS (assistance available if not current).
  • Right to work in the UK.
