Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited in London is seeking an experienced, HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary SEND team from September.

You will assess and support pupils with communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs, develop therapy plans, contribute to EHCPs, and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to embed communication strategies across the school day.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Relevant Speech and Language Therapy degree required.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong knowledge of SEND and communication needs.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism and/or complex needs.
• Excellent assessment, intervention and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes.
• Provide advice and strategies to teaching and support staff.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes.

Speech and Language Therapist HCPC Registered Specialist SEN School

A specialist SEN school in London is seeking an experienced and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to work directly with children and young people with a range of communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs, helping pupils develop the skills they need to access education and build greater independence.

The Role

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, support staff and external professionals, you will provide specialist assessment, intervention and advice across the school.

You will:
