Job summary

London SEN School is seeking an experienced and passionate HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team from September. The role focuses on working with children and young people with diverse communication, language, autism and SEND needs to support access to education and independence.

You will assess, develop and deliver therapy, provide guidance to teachers and staff, and contribute to EHCP processes within a specialist SEN environment in London.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• A relevant Speech and Language Therapy degree.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong knowledge of SEND and communication needs.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism and/or complex needs.
• Excellent assessment, intervention and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills.

Responsibilities

Speech and Language Therapist HCPC Registered Specialist SEN School

A specialist SEN school in London is seeking an experienced and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to work directly with children and young people with a range of communication, language, autism and complex SEND needs, helping pupils develop the skills they need to access education and build greater independence.

The Role

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, support staff and external professionals, you will provide specialist assessment, intervention and advice across the school.

You will:

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs
