A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Speech & Language Therapist (Band 6) to join a dynamic team in Hampshire. The role focuses on assessing and managing communication and swallowing difficulties, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care. Candidates should have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, two years of relevant experience, and be registered with RCSLT and HCPC.
Job Title : Speech & Language Therapist (Band 6)
Location : Community Hospital in Hampshire
Hours per week : 18.75 hours
Accountable to : Outpatient Team Lead and Highly Specialist SLT
Service : Adult Community Speech & Language Therapy
The role focuses on providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and timely intervention for individuals with communication and swallowing difficulties in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, clients’ homes, and inpatient wards. You will work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver coordinated care that prioritises client outcomes, ensuring their ability to communicate and eat or drink safely.
