Overview

Your role sits within the wider Trust Inclusion team and Speech and Language Therapy service, delivering interventions for students across our primary academies, with a special focus on Early Years and KS1. From direct assessments and goal setting to collaborating with staff and families, your work will empower students with communication needs to unlock their full potential. This role involves working across all of the schools within our Trust which include;

  • BCA in Bridgwater
  • Brookside in Street
  • Hamp in Bridgwater
  • Brymore in Cannington
  • Otterhampton – Just outside of Bridgwater
  • Stanchester – Stoke-Sub-Hamdon
  • Maiden Beech - Crewkerne
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver therapy and early intervention across multiple schools
  • Work closely with SENCos, HLTAs, and families
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops with our Lead SaLT for staff and parents
  • Monitor progress, contribute to assessments, and maintain high clinical standards
  • Champion inclusion and adapt curriculum strategies for communication support
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree or diploma in SaLT
  • HCPC registration & RCSLT membership
