A leading healthcare provider in England seeks a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to assist in therapy with children and young people. The position is 30 hours per week and involves administrative tasks, resource preparation, and supporting therapists in therapy sessions. We have a vacancy for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant (SaLTA) to work within our team for 30 hours per week. This role will involve working with the Pre school complex needs and the special schools team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well‑organised person with experience of working with children and young people with speech and language or learning/complex needs.
Our SaLTAs are a highly valued and vital part of our friendly, professional and dedicated team working in a range of community settings, including a child development centre, special schools, early‑years settings and mainstream schools.

The post is based at Worthing hospital and Special schools within Worthing locality it will also require travel to nurseries across the locality from Littlehampton to Shoreham. Full training and ongoing supervision will be provided within the role.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£24,937 to £26,598 a year per annum (pro rata)
