An exciting opportunity has become available for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner within the Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. In this role you will practice autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care, including advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within your professional scope of practice. You will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, using advanced clinical thinking to meet the needs of service users. You will work collaboratively with wider speech and language teams and stakeholders to maintain delivery of high-quality, integrated speech and language therapy, supporting policy and procedure to sustain delivery of quality, evidence-based care. You will use your passion, enthusiasm and specialist knowledge of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and advanced clinical practice to meet the four pillars of advanced practice, and to lead on service development and delivery.
