Speech and Language Therapy Team Administration Officer - Full/Part Time
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled admin officer to join our well established team. We provide clerical and admin team support to the speech and language therapy team who work across adult and children's services.
The post holder will provide comprehensive, effective, accurate and timely clerical and administrative service to the Speech and Language Therapy Department.
To provide clerical support to the Speech and Language Therapy Department
To carry out all aspects of library services including scanning to Clinical Web Portal of SLT assessments, case histories etc.
To be responsible for adhering to all health record procedures with particular reference to case notes and their management.
To compile relevant information for clients discharged from the Service
To send out and record appointments on a daily basis
To receive change of appointment information and to make appropriate rearrangements
To undertake routine photocopying, scanning and laminating as required
To type letters, memos and reports
To participate in the processing of incoming and outgoing mail
To provide accurate data input support for the Speech and Language Therapy Service to include client registrations using keyboard skills as appropriate
To amend and update client records on information system
To liaise with the I.T. Department regarding the reporting of operational difficulties with information systems and to assist in the resolution if required
To maintain, order and issue stock items of stationery
To receive telephone calls and answer queries as necessary
To take messages and ensure that they are distributed in a timely manner
