Are you an experienced Speech & Language Therapist looking to take the next step in your career? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs? If so, we want to hear from you!

Role: Speech & Language Therapist Team Lead Location: Liverpool & surrounding areas Hours: 37.5 per week, over 41 weeks (term‑time) Contract: Permanent Salary: £48,022 FTE (pro‑rated to £43,753 term time)

Alongside an incredible team of like‑minded peers, you’ll be working behind‑the‑scenes to support our staff, volunteers, families and supporters. You will be helping our work happen across the charity; enabling us to care for and champion the rights, needs and ambitions of the people we support.

As our Team Lead, you will:

  • Deliver high‑quality therapy within SEN school settings, supporting pupils, families, and staff.
  • Take on a complex caseload, providing evidence‑based interventions and clinical expertise.
  • Lead and mentor junior colleagues, fostering professional growth.
  • Specialise in a clinical area such as AAC, Autism, SEMH or Dysfluency, contributing to service development and innovation.
  • Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Advisory Teachers.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified Speech & Language Therapist (HCPC registered & RCSLT member).
  • Has significant post‑qualification experience, ideally with young people with complex needs.
  • Can work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Has experience providing clinical supervision and training.
  • Is innovative, flexible, and committed to delivering excellence in therapy services.
