Job summary

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist for a locum role at Llandudno General Hospital. You will deliver SLT assessments and therapies for stroke patients within the Stroke Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge service.

The position requires HCPC registration, a SLT degree, NHS experience in the last 3 years, and DBS clearance. Competitive hourly rate and compliance support provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified SLT with HCPC registration.
• At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
• Recent NHS experience within last 3 years (minimum 6 months).
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience in stroke rehabilitation.
• Dysphagia competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to stroke patients within the service.
• Support the Stroke Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge pathway at Llandudno General Hospital.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care plans and patient progress notes.

We are looking for skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) to support our client to delivering excellent care within the Stroke Rehabilitation and Early supported discharge service based at Llandudno General Hospital.

Essential Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist with:

• BSc or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience.
• 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience in stroke rehabilitation.
• Dysphagia competent
