Job summary

Words First Ltd's Experts at Hand service is seeking a creative Speech and Language Therapist to work in schools, empowering staff and strengthening SEND provision.

You'll coach teachers and SENCOs, develop practical resources and screening tools, and provide specialist advice to help schools meet children's communication needs. HCPC registration is required and a passion for whole-school improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• A qualified, HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND in educational settings.
• Confidence in training, coaching and collaborating with school staff.
• Creativity, strong clinical reasoning and an evidence-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach.
• Enthusiasm for whole-school approaches, innovation and service development.
