Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Yateley, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent

The successful candidate will be a motivated and qualified Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people. They will join a warm, nurturing team within a small, inclusive independent school that prioritises creativity, individual growth and meaningful support for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and identify the speech, language and communication needs of students across primary and secondary age groups.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans.
  • Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group sessions.
  • Provide training, advice and classroom strategies for staff.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary planning around student wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for families and external agencies.
Requirements
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with registration from the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working with children and young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach.
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and student‑centred support.
  • A passion for enabling every child to thrive in their own unique way.
