An educational institution in the UK is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to support students with communication and eating/drinking needs. This key role involves working in a multidisciplinary team and delivering specialist assessments. The ideal candidate should have some experience in dysphagia or be willing to undergo training. We're looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and collaborative therapy team, supporting students with a range of communication and eating/drinking needs. This is a key role in helping us expand and enhance therapy services for students with complex needs. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses, with strong support from experienced communication and therapy assistants.
A post-graduate qualification in dysphagia is desirable but not essential—we offer funded training and supervision from a dysphagia-trained therapist. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider service development alongside senior therapists.
