A leading education and care provider in England is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their clinical team at Crookhey Hall School. You will provide tailored therapy to pupils with diverse communication needs while collaborating with the education staff. The position requires a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration, along with good communication and analytical skills. Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Crookhey Hall School – Lancaster LA2 0HA
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE (basic grade SALT offers from £33,000+, Specialist from £39,500+ & Highly specialist from £48,000+)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full‑time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Crookhey Hall school. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required. This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.
