Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join the in-house clinical team at Syon Manor College. You will deliver bespoke SaLT assessments and interventions to pupils with diverse needs within an educational setting, collaborating closely with education staff.

You will manage a caseload with supervision, contribute to staff training, and support development of pupil outcomes across three sites, including Isleworth, Uxbridge, and Hillingdon.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registered and RCSLT registration.
• Experience with neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings.
• Experience communicating with families and carers.
• Knowledge of SaLT assessment tools and intervention planning.

The role:

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Syon Manor College. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Speech and Language Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding a Speech and Language therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required. • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registered, and registered with the RCSLT· Some relevant experience in a previously held job of engaging and working with individuals presenting with complex and diverse communication profiles· Some knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma informed practice· Some experience of multi-disciplinary working in a range of settings
• Some experience of communicating with/working with families/relatives and carers
